Happy Groundhog Day, everyone! I'm no groundhog, but here's what I'll be doing during the next six weeks or so... or at least the month of February.

As many of you know, Jess à la Mode is my major focus right now. Thank you all for your enthusiasm and feedback of Part One, as well as the S.S. Soft Serve Bios and Sundae Shoe pic. A lot of you are curious about what's going to happen next. What is Jess going to do in her huff? Are the S.S. Soft Serve crew members truly thieves or villainous? All will be revealed in the next parts of the story. Part Two will come this month; it's my next major picture. I also intend to have at least two more parts follow, resulting in a story with at least four parts. That's all I'll reveal for now, but you will be seeing the characters I revealed last week in this story somehow. I hope it's worth the wait!

And speaking of wait, I'm afraid to say that there may be a little bit of one. The good news is that it's because of KeroGrams, which are easy and quick to make. I won't reveal the contents or recipients of the KeroGrams here since I like to keep those a surprise. It helps maintain the feeling of receiving a gift. While on the topic, I'd once again like to express my gratitude towards you for the positive feedback these KeroGrams have been getting. It was definitely an experiment, and I'm so glad it's been so successful.

Now we hop to a brand new Frogress Report column I like to call The Ponder Pond. This is my own personal pool of thought that I will use to share the goings on in my mind. These thoughts may influence what I bring to the gallery this month and beyond. The first one is a thought for "beyond," specifically one month from now. I don't want to give everything away, so let's just say that March is looking like a busy month for me. It's also the Month I hope to have Jess à la Mode completed. I think once that's done or when the middle of March is reached, I will take a little break to recharge. Nothing is final yet, but it feels like that time will be a good one for a rest.

I'm also unsure if I'll make any Valentines this month. Jess à la Mode is taking up a lot of time in my mind at the moment, and I really want to complete that. KeroGrams will still come, but the S.S. Soft Serve is my number one right now. I apologize if you were looking forward to more Valentines from me this year. I'm just not sure if that'll be on the table yet.

Finally, a thought that isn't necessarily art-related. I have a hunch that a Nintendo Direct will come sometime this month. Don't quote me on that or get your hopes up just yet, but given the scheduling of Directs in the past, February is a month we've seen them. I mention this because I like to make art related to announcements from Nintendo Directs. Jess à la Mode and the KeroGrams are still my focus, but I'll consider doing pics around characters that capture my interest when the timing is right. I also want to point this out to other artists who like games and need ideas.
