I don't even ship these two (big JaimeXBrienne fan) but it's still nice to see them happy together. The tv show just shows angst, angst, angst until you wonder why these two ever stayed together for so long.

As much as I don't like incest, Cersei and Jaime's relationship seems to be the only thing that makes them human next to Cersei's love for her children. When they were young they did experiment with their mother setting limits so they wouldn't go far, but when Joanna died and Tywin forced Cersei to marry an abusive drunk who raped her that made her and Jaime do what Joanna feared would happen and it was based off of desperation, lonliness, craving love and knowing that in their twisted family they only have each other, and then Cersei gave birth to the mad king.
This relationship, Joffery and the downfall of the Lannister family was created by Tywin when his heart became dark. Cersei and Jaime's relationship is the result of Tywin's control and only caring about his legacy.

I'm not much of a Jaime-or-Cersei fan, but this is a lovely picture. You capture the fire between them, the mixture of lust and tenderness; the strength of their bond and how alike they are.

This picture is fantastic. I love how the eyes connect, it really captures the relationship before they fell apart - it's hard to rememember that they considered each other to be their other half before Jaime went to war and came back a changed man and Cersei started getting paranoid and spinning intrigues.

Absolutely fabilous. I love Cersei and Jaime, and I cried once they split up. It's so unfair, the two people mostly like to be soulmates to hate each other just because of becoming universally more acceptable in Jaime's case, and becoming drunker in Cersei's case (but she drinks only because he abandonded her... so it's a circle without end). And it's just what the name of the picture tells us. They will be together as long as there's love. And there's no love anymore.

Oh, this is just beautiful, their expressions are done so well, and her hair is just awesome. I hated Cersei and loved Jaime but was always iffy about their relationship. Anyway great job and I hope you have more ASOIAF work!

I come across so little ASoIaF fanart but even if I was drowning in it this would be a favourite; I love how you've drawn the terrible twins! I always forget cersei is meant to be gorgeous when reading about her latest evil (and usually obvious) plans but this is a definate reminder that they were both beautiful (pre-prison for jaime at least)

You know, I actually like short-haired, bearded Jaime better XD I'm one of the few fans of that version of him... but yes, they are *meant* to be among the hottest people in Westeros, Martin hammers us quite a lot with that notion! Thanks for the fav!

Don't get me wrong, I love post-prison jaime personality wise (who couldn't?) but my imagination seemed to really bitch slap him; when I saw your version I was like wow he looks rugged and hot rather than the completely messed up guy I see in my head hehe. My imagination is weird like that; even though I know cersei is meant to be beautiful I always come back to imagining her looking older than jaime and with a face predisposed to sneering whereas I can't shake the idea that brienne really isn't as bad as the whole population of westeros makes her out to be. I get to emotionally invested to be objective about their looks!
