Dumbledore is gay. And totally not impressed by the fandom explosion.

I wasn't really to bothered by it. It seemed natural, and it also seemed fitting. SO I see where it's coming from. It made me giggle. It's lovely.

hahaha, oh, i remember when i first found out...i was going online to check my e-mail when on yahoo all i could see was "DUMBLEDORE IS GAY". i IMMEDIATLY sent ims to everyone who was online at the time...i was so hysterically excited about it. one conversation:
ME2342384: "OMG SAM GUESS WHAT?!"

ME2342384: "DUMBLEDORE
ME2342384: "IS"
SAM234987: "...gay?..."

oddly, i thought dumbledore was some sort of demigod phantom who was above having a sexuality and found it quite odd, yet strangely fitting to learn he was gay.

i put him in the same category as Gandalf and, in the back of my mind, his sexuality was relative because there wasn't much of a chance he was going to start so far in life. heheh.

Yes, that's sort of how I felt too - never really wanting to think about whther he had a sexuality or not, because it didn't really matter to the character - yet, when JKR came out for him (heh!), I thought, "oh well, it makes sense, end of the question" XDDDD

I'm mixed about his coming out. It's after he's been established as a more morally gray character (which I love) which can be seen as negative. There is also the fact that she never revealed in the book the relationship would could have actually aided the book by adding a similar love story to Snape's, and Dumbledore's message of how loving is great could have meant so much more even after all he's lost. But whatever. I love Grindelwald/Dumblez anyway, so at least there is a canon pairing that doesn't involve Molly/Arthur that I actually like.

Oh my, I have seen a lot of Dumbledore in the past week, but this is my absolute favorite! He would react this way (and it's a little embarrassing that the US has responded the way it has)...and that picture of Grindelwald will keep me laughing for days!
