This is all *spoonybards ' fault, since she introduced me to the wonders of digital inking in OpenCanvas. I admit that I had sort of pushed aside OC for various reasons, last but not least that I found SAI more complete - but now for some reason (and if you have any clue, please enlighten me?) both the stabilizer and the pen pressure in SAI have stopped working so its once wonderful lines turned crappy. Boo!Anyhow, I started with the Wolverine sketch just to give it a try, then I was like "why not add Sabretooth and make it a 'classic foes' two-panels piece" (~ValyChan is to blame for this and she should know why, lol
), and eventually threw Emma and Jean in the mix as well. I realize it's somehow inaccurate to describe Jean and Emma as each other's nemesis, they're probably more like rivals, but still, juxstaposition, etc.Opencanvas 1.1 for the lines and PS CS2 for all the rest.

Quella in basso a sx è Jean Grey, qui in modalità Fenice Nera... che sarebbe la sua *vera* nemesi (=un'entità che l'aveva posseduta), ma se la lasciavo da sola mi si scombinava la simmetria del quadretto, indi per cui ho tirato fuori dalla manica la mia HAMATA Emma Frost XD

Ancora non sono riuscita a racimolare un solo numero di X-Men, però son riuscita a trovare i primi 3 numeri della rivista "Vertigo presenta" dove c'è l'inizio di 100 Bullets, così posso farmi un'idea generale della serie (e c'è anche Hellblazer che già mi piace, precisamente quello di Azzarelio di cui mi parlavi!)
Ce le ho qui proprio alla mia sinistra, appena comprate un'ora fa... devo ancora cominciare a leggermeli!
Il tipo della fumetteria mi ha detto che qui in Italia son stati pubblicati un po' alla cazzo, ma ha anche detto che prossimamente, o almeno così la Planeta ha annunciato, ci sarà una ristampa fatta come dio comanda di 100 Bullets per l'anno prossimo (di preciso non si sa ancora quando..). Se la notizia sarà più sicura, penso che aspetterò...
Oh. E ho chiesto anche del libro di vampiri. Uscirà anche per "Lasciami entrare" una versione tascabile a gennaio, che io aspetterò con pazienza.

Just because they don't tear each other's hearts out doesn't mean that Jean and Emma hate each other any less than Victor and Logan do. Beautiful drawing, and you summed up the descriptions of their personalities so well.
