Here is my first finish as an Art Director in the world of Entertainment Advertising. It's kinda a big deal to get 'the finish' on a piece of Key art like this. Especially when it's this new 'hot' show that TNT is coming out with. It's actually air'ing this coming monday. So if you wanna check it, its pretty good. I watched the pilot months ago when we were brainstorming for this project.I'm sure if you live in a big city you'll be seing this on bus shelters and on billboards. I live here in LA and I'm starting to see it pop up... its fun! im like, hey theres my shit! If you don't live in a big city I'm sure you'll see it in magazines. I signed off on about 20 media buys for print magazines alone!

what exactly did you do for this ad? did you took the picture or had to work with a picture that the production gave you? or planned the whole concept of the ad?

It looks great and seems to be done very professional, but for one point which is ambiguous, the TNT sign is drawing a lot of attention that lowers the effect of the actually well done exposure of the main character. (e.g. the blonde .p )
on the other hand thats prolly a good thing as its an advertisement not only for the show but for the channel.

yea i probably shouldn't have asked for critiques. Because this poster has evolved over 13 rounds of revisions. It not longer really looks like my original comp. Its what the client likes and wants. New heads, bigger people in back, fix her smile, ect. ect.
It's advertising, so obviously they want their logo to be big!
