Description
"They say nightmares will make you fear your own feelings. Then why does this nightmare make me feel more secure?I don't know how I got here, nor how I came to bear this pain or these wounds. I can barely walk, I simply drag my feet underneath my worn out body. I can't figure out where my wings are, all I see is muscle and bone, only 3 feathers remain.
I am stepping in nothingness, it's all blank around me, like if I were glowing and my white surrounding simply turns to violet, blue and finally black. It's weird to be seeing myself.
I do not know how long I've been here, alone, but I do understand what all of these things are trying to tell me, so I just keep crawling as far as my physical form can, because I know my current spiritual state would allow me to wander indefinitely.
I hear someone calling, a mellow voice, like a song. As I look around, searching for its source, I see. It's Mîr! She's here, but why? I could unveil all the symbolism in this dream, but her being here, I can't find a reason.
This strange dimension seems to be different around her form. While I've white all around me, she has a light shade of purple, her hooves are touching color, unlike mine, and she's leaving some kind of path behind her.
(...)
Now that I've been observing her for some time I see: Mîr's dancing! Happy and alive as usual. I know what this means, looking at me and her. Would this be my fate if I hadn't meet her? Live my days lost, hurt and broken beyond repair? Is this some kind of signal? That I need to hold on to her, to treat her well, to cherish what I accomplished? Our... friendship?
No, it's not friendship. It's something greater than that. Can it be... love?
Do I love Mîr?
What am I saying, of course I do! I love her more than anything else, before I knew it, my whole existence became hers. How could I not see this before?
So this is what this "nightmare" is trying to tell me.
I must tell her, but how?
This is so awkward, I've never felt this way before. What should I do?
I can't just go to her and say "I love you"! She'll probably runaway from me!
I guess I'm in trouble..."
If you haven't noticed, those are Ninniach's thoughts. He's pondering about what he's dreaming, that's why it may seem kind of messy, think of it as if you were reading his thoughts at the exact same moment as he was thinking them
So here's the final product and this is how the colors should have looked like in all those WIPs... I love this new scanner
Silly Ninni, he doesn't know what to do next XD Of course Mîr wouldn't run or would she? Well if you want to know stay tuned to the next episode!
If you're still reading this, here's a
Ninniach and Mîr are © to me.

Ninniach's coloring is awesome His expression is great, too. The pastels for the background was a good idea, it makes it all nice and soft - plus, sometimes though colored pencils are great, they can leave scratchy lines when a large area is colored, despite the best of efforts

That's exactly why I used them, also I needed a good excuse to try them out(I bought them in the beginning of Summer and hadn't used them yet). I love the soft effect they give and the color blend so nicely too ^^
Thank you so much!

Epson stylus photo RX640. It's funny though because I've never really liked Epson stuff, but this one is just great! I guess all the money my father spent on it was worth it(this is really crazy but it cost more then 250 dollars(189 euros).
Thank you so much Ash! That means a lot to me

Aw man, this is awesome! The colours turned out beautifully, and even though the intent was emotion and not anatomy, the equines look really good. Oh, and I like how you mentioned the background was pastels--I was wondering how you'd achieved that.
*pounces* Keep it up, pal!

Pastels are great to color large areas without having to worry about the evilness of pencil strokes >_< Which I hate seeing on a work, but since pastels are so soft, no marks stay and it could look even better if this wasn't the first time I used them XD
Thank you so much miss Platypus XD
