Description
Here's the second part of the tutorial, which is going over how to do lineart with the pen tool and its paths and such. o_o It's 4 in the morning, so please! if you see any mistakes and have any critiques, do so.This is the Beta version, so seriously, if you see something you think would make it better, I'll see what I can do.
I really hope this is helpful to anyone that uses it. ^_^

I'm new to this, and this tutorial really helped me out. I like that you didn't use the typical cutesy furry style, either. Very in depth and helpful.

Do you have the option turned on in your Brushes palette? It's up in the top right-hand corner in CS2.

Then go to my page; it's called SugarLineArt, and it should be the latest deviation.

I'm not sure if it's worth mentioning, but one thing that I learned can be quite useful if you use simulated pressure is after stroking the line, change the brush size down, stroke it again, change it down, stroke it again, etc, until you use a stroked like with a brush size of 1. This makes it so those really thin, nearly invisible parts of the line aren't so thin and nearly invisible.

That makes sense. :3 I don't play with simulated pressure that much, so I just touched on the basics. That's for that tip! *scritches* Very helpful.

*hangs sign around neck: Will tip for scritchies*
Hehe, I don't use simulated pressure at all, honestly. I'm kinda a perfectionist and I just HAVE to manually taper each and every single line. But I've seen some good work using that little trick with stroking lines multiple times, so I thought it was worth mentioning *nodnods*

I'm having some issues with the pen tool in PS7. I can't seem to augment the stroke path and I just get half moons of solid black when I try to make curved lines. It's gotten to the point where I'm screaming at the computer. I read the Photoshop help and they're bastards who just say, "specify tool options" but I've specified the hell out of them and it's not working. I just can't access the 'stroke path' option because it's greyed out. The same is true for the 'delete path' option.
You don't have to help me, but I'd appreciate any advice you have.

Unfortunately, I've never even used the pen tool with PS7. I didn't figure it out until I got my hands on CS. Though, I can turn you in the direction of someone that I know does use version 7 and the pen tool. :3 They don't bite, and I'm sure he'd be more than happy to help you out.
