Description
Overview: Torchbearers are a group of six dedicated and brave female Camien Warriors, formerly served as both the Elite Guards to Mistress of Flames and peacekeeper to Caminus, became part of Optimus Prime's Autobots Main Unit and also served as Arcee's Personal Units. The team consisted of stalwart commander Pyra Magna, optimistic and cheerful technician Jumpstream, the silent but deadly Second-in-Command Dust Up, wise and humble pilot Stormclash and her courageous and headstrong warrior twin sister Skyburst and curious but smart scout and medical officer Rust Dust.

Details: The only time I've seen Torchbearers is their Combiner Form and appeared in Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy, serving as a bodyguard for Windblade and her team to fight off The Fallen and prevent him destroying Cybertron. I have a little mixed feelings with her appearance and don't understand much about her until I read their origin and history from TF Wiki, and it sort of make me to include them and the Camiens for my TFP Prequels.

In TFP III: Journey, I originally write six Torchbearers as all being parts and controlled by Victorion as singular intelligence for teaming up with Arcee and her stranded team to fight off Obsidian, Strika and their usurpers. And she originally did not go with Arcee to fight off Quintessa and heading to the Earth. But I changed my mind and decided to include Torchbearers in TFP IV: Guardians because of two reasons - Combiner Wars Style between Autobots and Decepticons (I mean Four Autobot Combiners vs Five Decepticon Combiners doesn't sound very fair and equal to their rivalry), and also Arcee need some help to reach Earth especially detecting Optimus Prime's encrypted codes before going solo in the Out of the Past Flashback Event. I think it goes well and they're quite fun to write about in the last prequel.

As for the design wise, there's not much of Torchbearers designs from other media or fan artworks (not even GUILLERMOTFMASTER has that artwork) except IDW Designs. It was very challenging, tough and frustrating for me to figure out on how to draw them out due to their body sizes and how the vehicles to fit in them since I was very used to drawing female robots in skinny and beautiful, and never done with any Transformers Males' muscular and normal sizes. Eventually, I've managed to got over the problem and draw them of how I wanted and based on the IDW Designs.

Voice Actor: Saffron Henderson

Personality: A strong, serious and wise stalwart commanding officer Pyra Magna, who dedicated and determined to fight for justice and peace for both her home - Caminus and the alliance with Autobots. She is a compassionate and thoughtful warrior, whose concerns is making sure that her allies and people are protected and saved, and also considerate people's feelings and decision. She disliked abandoning and letting her allies to face the enemy, who has the advantage in numbers and artillery against them but willing to comply and allow them to do so for the Autobot Cause. She is very protective and mother figure of her teammates as her only family she ever has since the early days.

Personality: Jumpstream is an optimistic and cheerful Torchbearer, who loved various kind of flora and fauna especially cute animals. She is also intelligent and skilled with computers. She is also good with hacking, decrypting and accessing information that she or her team needs. Jumpstream can be cocky sometimes when it comes to her accomplishment and success. She is also a very sensitive and compassionate girl, who cares about her friends especially living creatures as she wanted to protect and save it.

It also capable of activating and using force-field barrier to block the attacks and blast, but not very powerful and devastating. It is capable of firing and shooting EMP Blast at her enemies and their weapons.

3) Dust Up

Voice Actor: Kelly Sheridan

Personality: Dust Up is programmed as the assassin and warrior, though she has strict code of honor and nobility within when it comes to fighting her enemy head on. She is a valiant and brave Torchbearer to venture the enemy territory, eliminating her targets and accomplish her mission. She doesn't fear the danger and death due to her commitment and strong loyalty to her teammates. She always strictly and properly cleaned hers and her teammates' weapons cleaned and sparkled, and also loaded them up before going for the mission. She has strong dislike with dirt and mess especially the ones that she worked to hard to clean.

Personality: Unlike Stormclash's coolheaded and mature personality, Skyburst is very immature and hotheaded younger sister, who's always eager for the fight with anyone for ending her boredom. She can be rude, impatient and annoying as she preferred some action and party over peace and talk or even Stormclash's lecturing her. Though she disliked taking orders and commands, she rather not to start the problem when it comes from Pyra Magna and her older sister. Despite her eagerness for action and problem with her older sister, she loved Stormclash very much and also very loyal to her team as well.

Personality: Stormclash is calm, serious and mature older sister of Skyburst. She is also the opposite of her younger sister as well. Stormclash is often get annoyed and irritated with Skyburst for jumping into action, which often gotten them into trouble. She is also very polite, sincere and humble Torchbearer, who greeted and show respect to anyone she met, be either Cybertronians or Organic Creatures. She is also very patient and cool-headed, though she will lose her temper if get tested for too long. She's very loyal to her teammates and willing to sacrifice herself to protect them. Despite her frustration with her younger sister, Stormclash cared and loved Skyburst very much.

She is also very hardworking and reliable Torchbearer, who is always there to help out her friends with whatever problems they have. Despite being part of the member, she disliked being called and treated like she was very young and small, which agitated and annoyed her eagerness to prove that she can handle some difficult mission as her teammates have done. She also can be a playful when she's not on her duty.
