Description

Starting on a backlog of old drawings as well as creating references for my OCs. I posted the lineart of this piece a while back, but only now go around to coloring it for a commission.

He emerged from the well-of all sparks and immigrated to Iacon so that he could study medicine. After many thousands of vorns of study, he graduated from the Iacon Academy in ci'ierec in ildt'vaza with full marks and Exemplar Vo'os status. After graduation he was transferred to the Iacon Clinic and Triage Facility where he served as the clinic's chief spark surgeon.

When he's in the operating room, he is confident and his hands move with a grace and skill not surpassed by many. Outside of the operating room, he's very introverted and prefers to spend his free time in his quarters listening to classical music and reading up on the latest surgical techniques in his field. Because of his rather severe countenance, propensity for responding to inquiries curtly, and tendency to remain silent and stoic despite the horrors happening around him, people assume he's perpetually angry and opt to stay out of his way. It bothers him sometimes, but on the other hand, if looking angry means that he doesn't have to deal with the awkwardness of normal conversation, he'll choose "anger" every time.

Random trivia:

-His human holomater avatar would be a tall, motherly woman very, very, very similar in appearance to Shizuna Minamoto from Negima.

-His alt-mode is a medical hovercraft. He rarely uses it.

-He doesn't drink because he's always on call.

-He has a HUGE collection of medical journals

-He is a terrible, terrible, terrible dancer

-He has self-esteem issues

-He's 50' tall...nearly as tall as Optimus

-His fingers are very long and delicate and each digit can transform into a unique surgical tool useful for manipulating the living metal of a bot's spark chamber

-He is considered to be one of the best spark surgeons in the northern hemisphere

Until the Orsis Incident, he was bonded to Interlink, the shield-generator-constructobot-turned-field-medic, and his former shield. Interlink was trapped in the Amertas Basin after the clinic's groundbridges were compromised, and he was killed in battle. He hates Crossarm for the latter's role in screwing up Operation Orsis, to the point that if the two were ever to meet, Triage would attempt to murder the jet out of principle.

Humans, for reasons that the seasoned medic could not fathom, lumped seven of their solar cycles into a unit of time called a "week," the first five cycles of which were mostly devoted to education, work or a combination of the two. The last two cycles of the week, colloquially known as Saturday and Sunday, seemed to function as a sort exaggerated holiday, whereby the humans would, on the whole, abstain from work or school and recreate in various ways.
