Whenever I get into a new project I tend to draw JUST the subject of that particular project constantly. This often results in both "burn-out" and in my portfolio being rather monotonous for a while.
I think the best way to combat this is to draw other subjects for a bit. It's also good practice!
So I decided to draw Ganon & Zelda (who I totally ship.) It's a departure from orcs, but still in line with the "big-scary-guys-with-cute-girlfriends" theme I've been surfing for the past 6 months or so.
I'd like to do a series of these, actually -all of my favorite Nintendo ladies with my favorite Nintendo villains.
Next up: Donkey Kong and Pauline
