Ah, so that's how you use the Zero function! Makes attaching items a little less time consuming than attaching them manually.

PrincessBloodyMary In reply to Trueblade70 [2014-06-12 20:24:49 +0000 UTC]

Definitely, using the zero slider, then doing manual editing is much easier!

I've tried to use the zero slider method, and my characters always have their necks kinda sink into the bodies. What's that about do you suppose?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

PrincessBloodyMary In reply to Manta1812 [2013-04-28 15:12:21 +0000 UTC]

Make sure that you move the character's bips to the item's, then choose the item and use the zero slider method. Doing the other way round usually causes the neck problem. Let me know if it continues.

Thank you very much, I ended up using the slider method on the bip_head, when I used the whole object it flipped upside down and went trough the characters face, giving me a good laugh. Thank you for the advice, you've made this a lot easier.

I do that when I'm not careful about which model's currently selected, it's a scary yet funny experience X) You're welcome, glad to be of help! ^^

I tried the same way with Scout and Fast-Learner and it turned out... weird.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

PrincessBloodyMary In reply to AnnoyingScout [2013-04-22 21:13:45 +0000 UTC]

Be sure to move Scout's bips into the Fast-Learner's and to attach all of them to their corresponding bips. If the problem continues, let me know and show me a screenshot of it if possible

AnnoyingScout In reply to PrincessBloodyMary [2013-04-22 21:21:34 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I just did it wrong and moved the fast learner's bip instead... XDDDD

Folkfunny [2013-04-16 10:10:43 +0000 UTC]

Thank for the tips ! But I can't attach item like Ghastly Gibus.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

PrincessBloodyMary In reply to Folkfunny [2013-04-16 11:43:44 +0000 UTC]

You're welcome, glad to hear they're useful!

First of all, be sure that you have the right Ghastly Gibus (if you're using sniper for example, choose Sniper's Ghostly Gibus).

Secondly, make sure that you drag and drop the character's bip_head etc onto the hat's, not vice versa.

Lastly, only mess with the "Body", not "unknown". If you try to lock the character's "unknown" to the hat's, it gets weird.

Let me know if you have further questions.

you can also just select the roottransform of the soldier and drag it around while holding shift so it will perfectly be on the ground.

True. I don't like messing around by doing that actually, that's why I didn't include that one.
