How much do you gussian blur it? 50%?

It depends..I can blur it more or less,depending on how I managed to blend the colours without the blur.In this case the colours fit nice,so I didn't have to blur them so much

When you added detail to the line art (picture 2) was it on the same layer as the line art on picture 1?

No,I always use a new layer for everything.It is simpler to have a separate layer when you start adding the details..because I hide the line lyaer,but I keep the detail layer at a lower opacity so I know where to place the colours.
