Description
A very basic combat mobile suit with no intergrated weapons. While the unit is relatively cheap to produce and maintain, its outdated design makes it sluggish and unresponsive in the field, often ending up as bullet-ridden titanium coffins for the pilot. In an attempt to make the suit more on par with NeoEarth mobile suit models, multiple retrofitting projects were done on the M-01, however, "upgrades" such as the extended 1500 round drum clip, the reactive detonating shield, and the shoulder-mounted howitzer (not shown) have only made the already stressed suit more cumbersome, resulting in more overheating and breakdowns.
