Description
Had some fun with night shots.This is a 5 minute shot. Fired the flash a few times from each side with a warming gel.
Had to do some serious noise reduction in the sky.
For those that were wondering, the reason some of the small star trails are segmented, is because (I think) clouds moved in front of the stars for a part of the exposure, thus blocking the light.

beautifully done my friend..did you fired the flash to the ground also?i always tried to use this kind of technique but the light always spoty..i cant make it spread equally..how did you did that?

i was friendly - i wanted to inform you in case someone copys your image and you are saying that? is what you posted particularly "friendly"? i wanted to do something good to you and you reply in a really not nice way. - how you wrote sounds like "how stupid or ignorant are you?" - so that's why i don't write back "i love your gallery"

oh lord! i didn't notice that you are not even the artist who is replying! *arghs* - ok - just to clear up this really terrible missunderstanding. - i thought you are the artist who is replying on my comment (because why should someone else reply on what i write?). now kowing you are not the artist your comment is not a bad reply.

I'm really amused by this shot. It is kinda what I tried to accomplish here: [link] but I didn't succeed... Bad nasty clouds, and my tree was so weak! Well... I think it's a whole different concept anyway!
