Description
Another quick one! The random type generator gave me Construct/Light to work with, so I came up with this Essent thing! I haven't got a good name of it, and it's too late at night to bother thinking of one, so I'll leave it as 'Lampy' for now since that's the name of an enemy from another of my games!I'm not sure about the weird lampshade attached to the back of its head; I thought it might add more colour and interest, and that it'd be an interesting combination of two different kinds of lamps, AND that it might resemble the crest of some kind of dinosaur-like thing, but I don't know! Maybe it's not too bad?!

this is so cute! I like the lampshade on the other side of his head! I think it kind of balances out the light bulb/eyeball portion, it kind gives it a roman helmet type feel to it as well! :3

I like Lampy, I do agree with removing the light at the back while keeping the lampshade! Seeing this sort of makes me wonder whether you'd include a seventh starter, one which isn't based on an animal but on a construct for people who prefer those?
It'd probably be nice for people who are more into these stranger designs and like the idea of animate-inanimate objectmon! I'd probably pick it myself!

I'm not really going to have any formal 'starter' kinds of things; I'll just add as many as I can be bothered to draw, rather than saying "right, I've done six, I'll stop now!" or "I can't release it until I've added six Starters!"
There won't be a Plot Section where you Get Your Starter either; you'll just have to go to the shop and buy a Card of one of the many things that will be available. (Though hmm, I might make what's available dependent on your Trainer/Signer Level or something, which would go up by doing tournament things... so the first set of Essents available to level 1/0 trainers might be the 'starters', sort of.)
Anyway, this may or may not be amongst the first set included, or it might be added not long after the initial release thing (or beta release, which is probably what it'll be anyway; non-beta players will likely have dozens of 'starters' to choose from by the time they're able to play (I'll be doing a closed beta, then an open beta)).

I love this one! It's adorable, silly and very amusing! I can't believe that what is essentially an animated lamp has this effect upon me - what a testament to your skill! They'd make great pets, I imagine.

I think it's quite adorable. I kinda like that the back lampshade adds some colour to that, though I'm not sure whether it needs to emit light, too, or maybe it would look better without that light. >.<
