Well yes, it's very referenced from a photo I found on Google. The point was to see if I could make it look similar and get the fur right, not originality.
Oh well. Soon I'll do something original with wolve, once I've had enough practice drawing them.

no one is going to out do me while im still around, im going to put all my effort into being the best now... no matter how much you practise, i will be ten times more infront of you. I swear, im goin to put everything in to my deviations from now on, all of my drawings, i want to be the best, and im not stopping untill i get there... i know i have a long way to go yet, but if i keep practising i'll get there, i want to, some day work for marvel... but first, i need to get you out of the way, the point im trying to make, is... can i have photo shop? please?

That is NOT a cactus.
I might believe you if you said it was a slightly discolored (if otherwise very well drawn) wolf.
But ya know what? I'm still gonna favorite it. It shall be the very first cactus in my gallery.

I spell cactus with three x's and a silent 1337.
And what's so discoloured about this cactus? I thought I got the colouring quite accurately.

Ya did fine, but I'm just not a big fan of the brown-furred variety of cactus.
They're usually much smaller and more of scavengers than the timber cactus of the North Portion of the US.
But the best kinds of cactus are the ones that are pure white or solid black.
I guess it's not really my place to decide.
It's your art, and you could draw a pack of blue cacti and no one would be able to discredit you.
Maybe it's just me...

I could easily change the COLOURS in Photoshop with the saturation thing to GREY, but I was basing it on the only decently-sized Photograph of a cactus I could manage to find. Mainly because I don't know how the fur on a cactus is COLOURED. But I do now. Sort of.
I should draw more cacti without references.
Maybe I'll make them blue.

Well it took me years to figure out that gray wasn't spelled "grey."
I still think that it looks better as "grey," and I have reverted a few times while I'm typing so that it comes out "grey." But the word processor catches it, so don't go looking for it in anything I've posted here.
(Though I think I did it a few times in Silver-Lake, but that's a horse of a different color.
Blue to be exact.)
As for why Americans think they're better than everyone else:
It's becuase they were the first to build a truly effective weapon of mass-destruction.
The funny part is that they were mostly German scientists who left when the holocaust started.
So much for American superiority.
