Description
The Cat and the Fiddle.Thomas plays a mournful melody in remembrance of his beloved soulmate who was caught by a string maker only days before. Unable to bear the weight of grief at losing her, the last thing he could do was steal the strings woven from her gut. He now plays to remember her as they can be together in song.

I can very well picture it as an animated clip, though I know that it's just wishful thinking seeing the concept behind the picture animated, oh well, keep up the excellent work. : )

This is beautiful, however it's coming off a little more cartoony, if you will, in his face than perhaps it should given it's back story. Though really, that's nitpicking when it comes down to it. It's such a fine piece.

A hauntingly beautiful picture, but because it has a more dreamy quality that I can't properly describe since I'm not an art student, I'm going to use a negative-like statement to say it:
Because it is not sharp, as in precise coloring and lineart making and shading stuff like a photoshop print made for a glossy, I feel that it's also a really romantic piece.

beautiful colors and perspective choice. Really love the character design as well. I'm not sure if the story quite matches the picture though, the visual gives off a sad vibe, but not a morbid one. Overall I love it
