I have decided to redesign my Gobots Animated works. The reason for this is I wasn't entirely happy with the originals because I felt they didn't really capture the Transformers Animated look, especially compared to my new Rock Lords works. The main aims were to simplify and stylise, with the shading methods and linework being more akin to Transformers Animated. Back then when I did the originals it should be noted I was pretty new to colouring with Photoshop so hopefully these are better. Also the character sheet itself has been simplified, so no headshot or floating weapons, and I think it looks more impressive and less cluttered as a result. For Tank, he was almost a complete redesign. I wanted something different from the usual tank with treads, and treads didn't suit his robot mody, which is quite curvy, so i made him a hover-tank. The overall look I kept quite similar tho I changed a few things, particularly the head which I based on Juggernaut from X-Men as I felt this would associate him with Juggernaut and therefore pretty tough!

Now that you mention it he does remind me of Juggernaut, but at first sight the thing that came to my mind was a wrestler... thus not exactly the kind of artillery type Tank always stroke me as... his body's nice aside from that and the alternate mode is out of this world, in more ways than one

On other fronts. I like the design. It literally feels like he's a tank as much in name as design.
