Description
I’ve had several requests for a tutorial on how I got the skin-shedding effect for my lizard manip, so here’s an attempt to explain my process. A couple of the steps are a bit trial and error, but I hope it’s still useful.

You should make a tutorial on how to make the hands more pawlike and how to add realistic claws.

How would you go about doing this with a body part with a bit more depth to it, like a face?

Here's a never-completed WIP that's a face rip: Cheetah Me Rip
The bit hanging down from the neck is actually cut out from the forehead and manipulated a little with Warp and Smudge.

Also, might I ask how you did the balloon effect as well as the little stitching/folds on the arms, legs, and muzzle in fav.me/d66cejk ?

I know all of the stitching/folds are done with Dodge/Burn. It's been so long since I've done that one that I don't remember a lot of what I did, though I know I used Smudge and the Healing brush to smooth out the skin and get that soft rubbery look.
