Description
What’s this? A tutorial? Some people have been asking me how I make my morphs, so I thought I’d make a tutorial alongside my “fursona” morph. It wasn’t too complicated of a job, so I thought it wouldn’t be too hard to explain. I’ve never made a tutorial before, so hopefully people can understand what’s going on.

Now, I used layer masks because it's so easy to correct if you make a mistake with them. Technically, you can use an eraser on a very low (under 20%) opacity to get the same look. You just have to be really careful, since it's much harder to fix. If you do that, I suggest making a duplicate of the layer, with visibility turned off (that eye on the side) until you get it to where you like it.

Looks like they added masks to the Elements line start with 9. I found a workaround for 7, but it seems pretty complicated, especially if you have to do it for a lot of different layers

Gah, this one is extremely useful! I always have trouble with the shading and never managed to make it work like this, thank you very much!

No problem! Getting the proper lighting and shading for all the different elements is a bitch. This really helps with the body, and learning to use the Level and Color Balance adjustment menus helps with the rest. =OdysseusUT also has a couple tips here that tend to produce really nice looking faces - [link]
