Finally, the long-awaited Ax Cat reference that I have stopped being lazy for long enough to finish! Even so, it's still a bit half-assed...

Any ideas for stuff to add? I know some of my adopters have been waiting for this to come out, and I'm sorry I took so long. If you have any questions, ask them, and I'll post them in this comment for everyone to see.

They need a new name...

Speaking of names, the scientific name means "Flat Head Egg Eater"

Questions-

Q: Does the hood/shelf/whatever it's called on their head greatly reduce their visual range? It looks like they can't look up, and some of their forward vision looks like it is interrupted as well.

A: They don't really rely on vision for navigation. Mostly they use their eyes for identifying locations based on the ground cover/soil type. The infrared eye can see 180˚ in front of the animal. Mostly, the cats rely on smell and electrical receptors in the bonnet, like a shark.
