Description
This is Io, he (actually sexless, but prefers "he" over "it") is the deity presiding over waves. Anything that occurs in a wave is under his influence, which makes him pretty powerful. Io is still classified as a lesser deity, however, due to his small stature and independence from the mainstream. He has only one small shrine to his name, but unlike other gods, isn't too miffed about it.Io can control, manipulate, and/or influence:
-Sound
-Light
-Radiation
-Radio waves, microwaves, etc.
-Ocean waves
-Some weather
-Air pressure
-Seismic Waves (earthquakes)
When provoked to attack, Io has a number of weapons at his disposal:
-Air pressure pulse
-Sound waves at any frequency
-Causing earthquakes
-Causing flashes of unbelievably bright light
-Stopping the motion of light waves in an area (pitch blackness)
-Throwing a lot of dangerous radiation at opponent
-etc.
Io's "voice" is actually a wave of silence. When he "calls", all sound stops for a second. Great way to mess people up, eh?

love both the design and his abilities. as others said, love how it is both unique yet simple. those 2 traits are what i look for when it comes to made up species and such.

the creature looks awesome, but the part in the description which seemed the most interesting was his ''call'', thats definetly something new, and it was hard to imagine what complete silence is like

with those abilities it's hard to imagine he's a lesser deity. still, the wings are really nice as is the tail. i love the idea of a bark of silence
