Description These are for my close circle of friends, and it would take too long to explain what they are and why they exist. I'd also rather not because it's our thing and ours alone, and it feels wrong to talk about it with anyone not involved. But I think they're pretty, so enjoy!

The one on the left is the banner of Kothica and the Koth Estates. If you can't tell, it's a beer barrel with a viking axe stuck in it.

The one in the middle is the banner of Lord Shaw, Lord of the Shawscape and Commander of the Shawscapian Pirate Fleet of the River Neuse. The skull is a two-toed sloth, as requested by Lord Shaw.

The one on the right is the banner of the Vistas, of which I am well on my way to becoming one of the elite members of.

If you must know, it's sort of roleplaying, but it goes on all day every day and there's next to no fantasy involved. And we actually do stuff instead of just imagining it. Bicycle jousting, for example. And other stupid and dangerous but awesomely fun stuff like that.

I love heraldic stuff. And I've been reading too much Game of Thrones. That's how this happened.

[EDIT] Added the banner of Kothica.

The real-life RP without Fantasy concept thing with your friends sounds awesome. It's nice when people can make banners or group symbolising art for their friends without it being considered too much or lame. Screw those people >:I Nice work! The symbolism you've included in them makes them seem legit. In particular the right one, which is my favourite.

There's some fantasy, but it's mostly a sort of mythology we've made up using people we know. I've actually only been part of the "inner circle" for about two years, so I still don't know all of their lore. Some of them have known each other since middle school.

The "symbolism" is more "hey Lord Shaw, what's your favorite color? And what do you want on your banner?". The Vista banner was a bit more of a group effort, though.

I too like the one on the right best.

I like the skull, for some reason I want to say it's a badger. No idea why I'm thinking badger, I really have no basis in that theory.

It's actually a two-toed sloth (according to Google Images). Who knew such an adorkable creature [link] could have a maw of doom [link] like that?

Haha, indeed. That's quite unexpected.
