Trying out a new Photoshop style. I like this one a lot, though it's a right pain to use.Photoshop Elements 6

Love the feeling of this piece. Dark and forthcoming. The beetle like jaws make it seem like a predator that will keep one tightly in its grip, and the hard scales with exposed tendons resemble an impenetrable armor with hard to hit weak spots. The fact that the claws are shiny only makes them all the more noticeable and look dangerous overall and draws attention to other shiny things that could pose a similar threat. along with the color balance and overall composition of this piece, I'd say this has to be one of the most well put together pieces I have seen in quite a while. Though my words cannot do it justice

I love all the scales and the general texture to this, and the shiny edge to the claws, reminds me of metal.

Weeellll, as they say, practice makes almost perfect.
I did most of the shading in pencil, and colored in Photoshop. It's MUCH easier than doing it all in PS.

AHHH Pythos I cant even describe how amazed and jealous I am lol. I REALLY like this new style, and I hope you stick to it. Youre becoming AMAZING, like pro league. I simply love this design, and the colors are so fitting. You must be a goddess at concept art, because you can create a concept, portray it, make it come alive, all within an HOUR! o_o All hail the pythos.

Oh, that sounds awesomesauce! I want Zbrush, but it's out of my price range and I'm saving up for a MacBook Pro. And I tried a pirated copy and it completely failed to load then proceeded to crash my PC. So glad I didn't use the Mac first.

The one I have really works, and works very well. However I'm working on trying to get 4.0. When it works, I can install it and have it guarantee that it works for you too.

Okay, good. It may work differently on different computers, though. I always work on a MacBook Pro which, while not susceptible to viruses, tends not to like running things not intended for a Mac.

Well, I didn't include sketching time. I did the actual sketch on paper during Chemistry.
Good luck! I know how you feel. Sometimes I am unable to do anything outside of what I'd been doing tat week. The strider sculpt kind of threw me off of drawing for a while.
