So the little bitty Intuos3s at my school actually work! They only have their drivers installed on the few Macs the school has, but I'm in Independent Study, so I get to use the Macs.The Macs have CS5 installed, which is a party, but the Intuos3s are SO TINY and I'm used to my huge tablet XD I keep trying to use my whole arm to draw, but that doesn't work so well with these.
I drew this over two class periods (3hrs total) and I'm extremely pleased with the result. I will be putting it in my portfolio.
Welp, now I have to do actual work for my class :C

I really love CS5. The opacity jitter on the eraser is something I've been dying for, and the whole thing is so much more user friendly.

Pretty textuuureess.. again, nice depth, nice rounded composition of the tones. You really know what you're doing o: and it's nice to look at it and know you enjoyed doing it xD it shows

Mechs like this are awesome, but it makes me rage a bit. All my mechs always turn out either too chunky or too smooth. It can never get the balance right, like in this one you did.

mechs with heads like this are really getting popular i see, as now when i look at mechs i seem to see it everywhere, most are not this well done tho, good work

Well, if you ask me, they're a hell of a lot better than the impractical Gundam-style heads. Though I must say I haven't actually seen many with a head similar to this one.

Ask Ms. Ricker if you can use the larger ones they got for the teachers, they should work a lot better, although still not up to your usual size standards, they are a bit bigger (6x8, I believe). And it is very pretty, your mechanized being. Also, yes CS5 is amazing, I'm surprised you haven't been scrounging money for it already, but whatever, try using the blending brush, it is rather interesting and takes a bit of playing around with, but since you already are good at blending your levels of color using opacity jitter and whatnot, it should work beautifully for you.

This is a really solid-looking mech. It feels like a worker mech, but could be used in combat, too. Great job!
