Description My first in a series of 4 imperial ships that I'm doing for fun and as a favor for my friend who suggested the idea. This is a design for a smaller vessel, similar to the Dreadnought-class heavy cruiser is size, shape, and purpose.

It is called the Guardian Class Cruiser.

Size: 550 meters long, 80 meters wide
Crew: 400 crew, room for up to 10000 Imperial Troops
Complement: 12 TIE-fighters, 2 shuttles

Took about 10 hours total, done all in Sketch-up.

Hope you enjoy, comments, critiques, and suggestions are welcome!!

Please dont be mad at me for changing my mind and choosing this ship instead

Btw, is there a rear view to see the engines?

No worries lol. Β Unfortunately a computer crash and change means I dont have this model anymore, the only images I have of it are the ones in my gallery.

very rarely does one see a spaceship that looks plausible, this one looks plausible.

The design looks old yet functional, I like it.

Im guessing, this is done with VRay? I really like the look one can achieve with that tool... far better than Podium

Great work

Ah I see why it made me think of the Dreadnaught as I looked at it.

Yea that's what I modeled it after, just a little shorter, and with a lot more guns haha. I also added a bridge, I thought it was weird that the Dreadnaught was one of the only ships in the Star Wars cannon that didn't have a visible bridge.

Very nice. If I may crit your model, bring up the size of the texture and add/or increase the bump map. Just a little to keep the general depth to the ships sides.

Over all, Rock on!

Of course you may critique! I can only get better if I know what needs to improve so thanks very much for the comment!
