Description After watching the new Star Trek movie several months ago I decided to make my own version of a Star Trek ship. I was always more partial to the designs of Star Wars, or Star Blazers than star trek so I incorparated alot of that into this ship. It has convential style weapons, not phasers, as well as radars, sensors, a normal looking bridge and the such. I designed the basic shape of the ship from the Enterprise E class

I really like the way it turned out I actually had the energy and mindset to finish this project and I'm very happy with the result.

I named it the Titan, first ship in the class of the same name. Its official designation is EFS-TN-001 Titan, EFS meaning Earth Federation Ship, TN designating the class name Titan, and 001 meaning its the first of its class. Other ships of this class would be named after the Titans of Greek Mythology in case anyone was wondering, Kronos, Rhea, Atlas, and the such.

-About 900 meters in length
-12 main Ion Cannon Batteries
-14 smaller defense batteries
-about 900 crew

Tell me more about the ion cannons. Do they use some type of emitter crystal like standard phasers?

How do the ion cannons operate in a trek universe?

It's good to see actual gun turrets on a 'Star Trek' vessel, but I think the Titan needs bigger ones- something like [link] , with individual reactors to power the larger gun turrets.

At least the designers are smart enough to exploit stealth technology- "Our heroes don't sneak around," ([link] ) if they're feeling suicidal! May I presume the ship will be upgraded with a cloaking device ASAP?

wouldn't clustering all escape pods on 1 location of the ship kill more then 75% of the crew during evacuations? I think it would take too long for them to escape.

Well I thought about that and I decided that most of the crew would probably be located near the bridge area, were most of the action happens in the ship, so I concentrated most of the escape pods in that area. There are some more on the underside of the ship.

But you do make a good point probably not the best location for the escape pods especially if that area was to get hit by an enemy, then no escape pods haha. Thanks for the comment something ill keep in mind when doing future ship designs!!!
