Description

A refit of the Excelsior Class was built in-part for the Enterprise-B to be built, and of course Kirk would still command it until his eventual death in 2288 and a new captain would continue his legacy*. The Refit Excelsiors had 2 distinct differences between the Production Excelsior, one, the hull was altered slightly and second, she gained additional impluse drives on either side of her saucer. A couple Excelsior Rs gained very familier names like Highwind-B, Lakota, Hood and of course the tactical-ized Zenterprise-B. The Lakota would gained a complete beam bank on her saucer and on her lower secondary hull and above the shuttle bay, as well as, on the nacelles themselves.
