This is just a silly one, with a bunch of AH cliches thrown in - divided Germany, Italy and the US, Confederacy, surviving Aztec and Inca empires, Deseret, Napoleonic France, random huge Muslim states, boring blob India, divided China, Mighty Japan, surviving British empire, teeny random European country holds the Congo, etc. Of course, some cliches cancel out others: can't have divided Germany or surviving federal Austria-Hungary if you have Victorious Nazi Germany, or boring blob India if it's Still British India.
