i just totally see her and hawke cooking, her dropping something and her making the face and going "oops..." and then using the "you kicked my puppy" voice.

She has so many sad or dramatic moments, that we don't see her smile much in the game.

She's in the Dalish elf origin as a tag along. Different voice actor though.

Merrill is in both of the Dragon Age games. She has a small part in Origins, and a much larger roll in DA2.

I can't bring myself to go down the blood mage path ... it just doesn't make sense to sacrifice health for damage, but that's the gamer in me talking. As it is, I'm going to stick with a Rogue from now on, after seeing what a total asshat Carver is. I almost wept when Bethany died because I chose to play a mage.
