Description It's Guula again! The dancing Fifinella based off Disney's and Roald Dahl's Gremlins.

Guula is a native to the Bermuda Triangle (yeah, the mystery's solved--all those plane and ship disappearances can be blamed on the Gremlins--just as they were during WWII. XD ). She's tiny, like a regular Fifinella, but some people credit her kind's more human-like appearance to the rumor that her ancestors intermarried with fairies long ago--giving rise to a more elongated body shape. Of course, no one can confirm or deny this story.

And, here's the pose reference used: [link] by

Sigh, I can find so much wrong with this pic, but I don't want to point them out. Just please be kind in the comments.

Ooo! Practicing for a play?

Heh, Basilio will probably not want Amelia to return the dress. Also, I didn't need to add anything floral to her. She looks like a flower already. (I truly hadn't realized that when the skirt is in motion, it resembles a blossom. I swear I came up with it before reading the book!)

I also think I was subconsciously remembering the dress here: [link] Haven't seen it in years, but that was always my fave scene from Legend. That's pretty close to how I imagine Guula's costume to move when she's in motion.

Well...Guula's wearing a uniform, so it's not as ornate as one of her costumes. Then again, that uniform is form-fitting, so you can really see what her body is shaped like under there. Guula was furious when Tosure chose his ambitions over her love, so she trained her body to the breaking point. She wanted to be absolutely physically perfect, so when he saw her again, he'd see what he missed out on.

Uh not really. It's just that our teacher wants us to memorize, seeing as he did it for every class he taught.

Oh no way he wouldn't want her to. I don't think she would return it either, seeing as her man is falling in love her again like they did when they were young.

Oooo! So pretty

Ohhhh bad Tosure, bad! To the doghouse for you! But you know, if he got over his evil ambitions, say he was defeated by falling off the same balcony Ginnie did, he would wash up on her island and reconnect with her. I can so see it

Ah! I see. My teacher did that, too, for Macbeth's soliloquy.

Well, you can see what he'd be looking at here: [link]

Yeah, I really need to watch Legend again. It was such an artistic movie.

I did wonder about that scenario, too. If he did wash up on Guula's beach, she'd probably want to punish him a little first--drag him around by his mustache. But, as much as she hates to admit it, she still has a soft spot for him. I do wonder what Tosure's fate will be though. If he dies, Guula will more than likely show up to pay her last respects.

I saw it and I LOVED IT!

Nooo! I don't want him to die! Just for her sake, let him live Many!

Thanks!

Man, I've really turned you into a Tosure/Guula shipper, haven't I? XD From what I read when Many first introduced him, you didn't seem to like him that well.
I'm still not sure if Many's on the ball about letting Guula be Tosure's ex. She may have just been humoring me when I asked.

YES YOU HAVE, BUT I CANNOT DRAW MY FEELINGS. I HAVE NO TIME DARN IT

Nah, I don't think so.

Seriously? What feelings did you want to draw?

You don't think she's on the ball, or you don't think she's just humoring me?

Oh just the "Why the hell did you leave me in the first place?!" one, the "I don't want to talk to you again! *blushes while Tosure smirks*" one, the "Don't leave me again, please. Of course I won't." one and the "I forgive you" one. But I need a color reference of what she looks like.

I actually have no clue.

Ah...man, you got a lot of ideas there. But, you may want to ask Many if you can draw Tosure first, since he's her character, and if she approves of what you have planned to draw.

Guula knows why Tosure left her. He'd wanted to be king since he was a widget, and he eventually figured out the only way to do that was to marry the princess...but he couldn't do that if he was married/in a relationship with someone else. So, he chose between the two dreams...and after Guula was gone, he became more and more pressed to get what he wanted.

And, Guula can smirk just as well as Torsure--I think she learned it from him! She's a stubborn, temperamental lady--like Catwoman. I'm sure their road to reconnection would be very bumpy indeed.

I have tons of ideas! It's just that...some of them may not be...appropriate for these kinds of characters, especially if they're partially owned by Disney.

Ah I see. But could his love for Guula get in the way of marrying the princess? STAY TUNED FOLKS! And indeed it will!

Ideas for Guula and Tosure, or just ideas for Gremlins in general? (or, even Spandules?)

Yeah, maybe that's the real reason he chose not to go ahead and marry the princess--and just took the crown by force. I think he's had quite a long time on his own to develop a rather unpleasant personality, though. It would take awhile for he and Guula to become receptive to each other again.

I know how you feel. I got a lot of fics crowding around in my head, too. Comes with being a writer.

That's not to say they won't eventually reconcile. It just takes time between two very stubborn people. It makes the story all the more engrossing. But, it's all still up in the air until Manyworlds reveals Tosure's fate.

Pictures also! The pictures... But it's better to write them as fics also

Yeah it is. We only stopped where they slept, but I'm really wondering what's gonna happen now

Well, it's fun to diversify. Pictures and fics together make you more well-rounded.

Yeah. Like I said, if he dies, Guula will come to pay her last respects.
If by chance, he does fall into the ocean and wash up on the beach, I got this image of Guula finding him amongst some debris. He's half-awake, so he's not quite sure if he's dead or not...and Guula just prods him with her foot, smirks, and says 'Didn't work, did it?'

WHY YES THEY DO

OH BOOYAH, YOU GO GIRL! And then she'll make him come back begging on his knees, literally.

I imagine she'll probably drag him by his mustache...which he didn't have when he left her. "What ze heck is thiz thing under your nose?" (That sounds too French. I'm wondering if she has an accent...or what kind of accent she has if she does.)

poplilly4009 In reply to QuoteCentric [2012-03-02 00:53:50 +0000 UTC]

Oh that'd be funny! But she's from the bermuda triangle, so she should have some kind of accent, if many ships passed by there and heard the sounds of men there

QuoteCentric In reply to poplilly4009 [2012-03-02 01:03:29 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, she has a deepish voice--a bit deeper than one would expect from a tiny lady. Kind of sultry, you know? I've gotta think of an accent that sounds like a purr...or like rich chocolate. Her accent would not be as think as some of her kinfolk, because she's spent some of her childhood in that Gremlin kingdom (sort of an exchange program for the schools), but it's still noticeable.
