Description
After long and idea-less month I finally found some time to do this.This suppposed to be a galaxy, and I hope it looks like, I must also say that I'm pretty proud of that piece.
I've had some problems with stars but after all they started to cooperate.
I hope you like it, like I do.

From what I've seen from your gallery, this seems to be one of your best yet. The use of blue (with hints of purple and green) is exceptionally done, neither too saturated or desaturated, and the sense of light along with the variation of stars and the general use of scale throughout the piece is all well done. Particularly, it has a very painterly aesthetic to it, which certainly exemplifies the style of the galaxy, nebulae and stars in a positive manner. By its own there aren't any obvious defects or flaws, though you could expand upon the scene with some planets or extragalaxial details in the nebulae (that is, just some more forms apart from the galaxy), but these would be more like suggestions for an alternate scene, rather than an improvement upon what the scene already is. Nicely done.

I'm trying to make those dust clouds, but they always look the same...

If it's seeming indistinct, you can always darken and lighten parts to give it your own form... Also another quick way to give it a nebulous appearance is with cloud textures and such.

I don't know if you know him, but ~nisht has beautiful nebulas. And I tried something like that but oh well... crap.

Ah, well at first it usually doesn't look very impressive, but after much layering and manipulation (by the likes of the clone brush/paint brush/smudge brush, etc.) one can build up great amounts of depth, such as seen in ~nisht 's well done nebulaes indeed.
