Then you can only use the healing brush tool which takes a bit longer to do the job but does it all the same..

Usually the lame old clone tool suffices for me I don't do much photomanipss anymore. Maybe when I get CS2 I'll be inspired :]

Thanks man! I always wondered how those tools worked. This'll make texturing for 3D a lot easier!

Great tutorial! I've been meaning to use this feature, but never really learned how. Very useful. I like how it's clear and straight-forward, it really makes it easy to understand. The only thing I might change is the location of the green box, it blocks what you're doing at one point. Great job!

Which part does it block at around what step? I'll see what I can do.
Thanks - I hope the tut helped

The very last part, when you take out the building/roof. You can't tell how your selecting the tool.

Oh. That was my mistake. During filming the tut I accidently pressed a key which switched the current tool with its previous one so I just went back to get the right tool again. Thanks for pointing that out. I better put that on my authors notes so people know what it os

Great tutorial! Didn't even know that tool existed. I have CS1, but I guess you can just use the Healing Tool instead of the Spot Healing Tool? I can't imagine it would make too much difference.

r4v1 In reply to Sazlik [2006-09-30 10:15:38 +0000 UTC]
quite right. There isnt much difference between cs1/2 so this should work even though the spot healing brush isnt there.

Ah, okay...I thought as much.
I'll definitely be using this! It could obviously save a lot of time mucking about with the clone tool.

I know... its because I was trying out all the effects with the gradient wipe, pixel transition and I had fade-in/out arrows and stuff. But it doesnt take long to load does it? With my flash player and ff cache cleared it takes like 5 seconds to load (on my 7.6 mbs connxion ).
