Ya know, I loved Alien Res except for the design and execution of "The Newborn". It looked like a plucked turkey on stilts, a complete and total Epic Fail even after they tried to salvage it post-production. It was the brainchild of the director, who needed to be shot and have his corpse fed to the dogs. That embarassing fiasco aside, I loved the Ripley clone/hybrid, the wiliness of the xenowarriors, and the android Call.
I was also disappointed that Alien 3 just wiped out Newt and Hicks. They were unfairly axed, methinx....

My absolute fav:
The guy in the mess hall saying Ripley's a fruitcake, and everybody should stay calm because its all under control, and the xeno pops down from an air vent and snatches him in mid sentence. There's a half second of shock, then chaos....Priceless....
