EDIT 3.02.08:// [ FAQ ]Q: Where do you buy paper star strips?
A: You can for sure buy paper strips at any Korean stationery store. You can probably even buy online? If you really can't find them, however, you can make your own; 15 x 1 cm paper strips.
Q: Help! I'm stuck! I don't get this?
A: Basically you're trying to use up the whole entire strip of paper until it runs out. What you're basically doing is this: take a flap, fold it over. Take the other flap, fold it over. Take the other flap, fold that... Tuck them under whenever you can as shown in step 4. Good luck!
OMG HUGE FILE D:
I sort of made a mistake by making this tutorial with those paper strips -.-;; I've always used 15 x 1 cm paper strips to make paper stars but these new ones are like... 19 x 1 cm D: If you use 15 x 1 cm paper strips, you do NOT need to cut! It should be perfect and you should be able to use it all :> I didn't know this but the new paper strips I've bought are strips used for both paper stars and paper hearts x_x;; oi.
Not the best tutorial out there...
probably one of the worst, rofl.
I never take requests--ever! But this is the one time I've fallen for it D: Ohnoes! Dx
GOOD LUCK!
Look forward to ANOTHER tutorial soon!! <3<3
For what? D: It's a secret! >:[

I think I worded this wrong. XD
I meant that the ones that come with the paper strips are confusing.

It usually depends on how long your paper strip is :0 The one I'm using for the tutorial was 19 x 1 cm (I think?) 15 x 1 cm paper strip should be perfect tho :0

My friends and I used to make these when I wasin elementary school allll the time. I lost most of them but sometimes I find a star in one of the weirdest places. Like sometimes I'll be putting on my socks and inside the sock is a star. It's like they're alive

Just basically, after step five, all you're doing is following the pentagonal shape and keep folding, taking a turn on each flap. So if you folded one flap over, take the other one and fold it again. When there's a chance to tuck it under, tuck it :]
It's really easy once you get it

You can for sure buy paper strips at any Korean stationery store. You can probably even buy online? If you really can't find them, however, you can make your own; 15 x 1 cm paper strips.
Good luck!

RainCookie In reply to Drixi [2008-03-02 23:30:14 +0000 UTC]
It doesn't really matter :] I would just suggest you use the precut strips from the store since it's like 500 strips for a dollar, perfect machine cut, and it's slightly thinner than the standard white paper that we print stuff on :]
You can cut your own but if you use standard white printing paper for it, your fingers will hurt much more since it's more fat and stiff :<

ok thanks...... the problem it's that i'm from argentina... and i don't know if that things are in the store of her..... and probably they will be so more expensive that 1 dollar...... but thanks!!!....... and the large of the paper have to be one in especial, or can be a little more smaller
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
RainCookie In reply to Drixi [2008-03-02 23:45:48 +0000 UTC]
It can be smaller :] But anything less than 15 x 1 cm would probably be hard to fold :<
Good luck nonetheless! ^^
