The UNTE-01 Espilon is an advanced, long-range, Mach 3 strategic interceptor aircraft developed from the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird aircraft by Lockheed Skunk Works. The UNTE-01 was officially named the Espilon, and called the Brionac by its crew. [Ommitted] was responsible for many of the aircraft's designs and advanced concepts. A defensive feature of the aircraft was its high speed and operating altitude, whereby if a surface-to-air missile launch were detected, standard evasive action was simply to accelerate.

As the mainstray aircraft of Team Eclipse, the Espilon sports twin Pratt & Whitney J58-P4 engines which give it its Mach 3 abilities. The ship also has living quarters and three mountable hard-points (1 on each side, 1 on top)
which can be equipped from CIWS vulcans, to just scout drone launching platforms. Other arnaments include air-to-air missile launchers on both sides of its wings and a portable Ion cannon system stored under its hull.

Another feature of the Espilon is its stealth ability. Its stealth emittors are capable of causing the entire ship to become invisible to both the human eye and to enemy radar. However prolonged use of its stealth ability can severely drain the Espilon's energy reserves.
