Description
Still tweaking and messing with these guys, I decided to have another go at adding a tail that didnt look like it was simply riding the wind rather than moving with the extrension and flex of the Ahunino. Also trying out the head movement, they'll all be drawn over of course otherwise she'll look stiff faced.
Long tails are hard, I've had to use multiple references and try and scribble out a happy medium.
This may run a tad slow, you may need to download it.
Also, thank you DeviantART for telling me I cannot upload GIF images into the catagory I'd like while failing to provide an 'Animation' catagory. Oh of course, I have to put in in Fan Art, despite it being my own creature. Win!
This webistes catagories need a serious overhaul/sortout.
Thank you for looking!
Feel free to use this run cycle as reference. Download, right-click and save. Open in Photoshop to view frames (Window > Animation)
Ahunino and all related belong and are copyright to myself, ~Rasa88

Oh hey, I found the actual animation category (via posting an animation)
It's Digital art/Miscellaneous/Animation?
What a bizarre place, but need to change my animation categories there, too...!

I love the flex and extension on the thigh. Beautiful
For the category thing you mentioned, there is another animation folder, dA just likes to embed it deeply in the categories

This animation is very helpful. Looking at how you drew each frame and how you made this animal move have shown some light on how i can make my monsters movre realisticly. I want to say thank you

I just put it in traditional art -> animation -> pencil test
Its good enough, I would say, and piss on the idiots at DA who failed to remember that flash is not the only digital animation.
Im always really wonderstruck whenever I see people animating, since its so smooth and there isn't any of that annoying boiling that happens when I try to animate.
I say!

Ahh thank you!
The same here, I just really cant fathom what the fella who made the catagories was thinking.
The same here! My sister animates fight scenes without batting an eyelid while I froth in the corner trying to get my head around animation basics /sob

I guess its down to being excercised enough to do lines like that, but I wish there were some kind of lessons to learn how to animate smoothly..!
Or... Did the old masters really just learn like that..? ;w;

I like it! It has a real powerful motion to it and I think you're nearly there with the secondary animation on in the tail. The tip still looks a tiny bit stiff as if there is a frame missing but I couldn't say where without separating out the frames myself

Thank you hun! I'm glad its getting there, I know right? I cant figure it out either, everything I tweak seems to jitter around when re-played. Egh! |D
