This image is VERY similar to one that I posted before, but some of the proportions on that earlier one started to bug me, so I finally made a few VERY subtle adjustments to it. FYI: The leading edge of the saucer section is less steeply inclined and the warp nacelles are slightly more slender. I know, it's REALLY subtle, but these things were bugging me, so I decided to fix them. I also reverted back to the older font (from Star Trek TOS) for the NCC-1700 text on the top and bottom of the saucer section, while transitioning over to the Microgramma Bold Extended (from Star Trek TMP.) So I'm very intentionally combining design features that put this starship somewhere BETWEEN TOS and TMP. I'm exploring and trying to find an optimized design that lies somewhere inbetween those two classic designs, (while also borrowing from Pike's newly reimagined Enterprise.) This is all just for fun.
