I agree the old Robotnik is a lot scarier and fun to watch than Dr. Eggman is.Β The only time I might prefer Eggman is if I ended up dimension-traveling and ran into one of them.Β Certainly then I'd prefer a mean, comic eccentric to a bad guy who could give a Disney villain an run for their money!

I dunno who this "Eggman" dude is they show nowadays. THIS is Robotnik. One of the best villians ever!
The difference between this and "Eggman" is on par with the difference between Dracula an Edward from Twilight. There just cannot be any real comparison.
I like villians who have motivation and cause and other things that flesh them out as people and let you see their side of things, but sometimes nothing can beat just a simple villian who is just pure evil. No rhyme orr reason to be had, just evil. It makes hating them so much joy.
