Ok . this is how I draw teh faces

anyways ... bad chibi me
ok . to the seriousness

1) First off . yes . I use those bubles and circles and lines and such but most of it I just mentally put on the paper and not even draw it cept the circles for where the joints and head will go .. anyways . make the circle . and make the lines that you want it to have (which way you want the face to look)

2) Second ... make sure you know where you're going to put the hair (it's quite handy with how large or small your head is and such) make the outline of the face (jaw . sides . eh .. yeah . whatever is supposed to be there) ... put your ears in too . maybe not dark ( because of the hair) but make sure you know where they'll be somewhat in the center of the circle . and add your nose ... somewhat nice to know where the nose is you know?

(Lets see if I can keep tying correctly or misspell every dang word and have to go back)

3) Add in the eyes and the eyebrows . the eyes go along the line that goes center across the face . and make sure that the bottom of the eye is on the line (I know people say 'put the eye to where it goes through the line' but sometimes it's interesting if you don't ... and people have said that around me ..... teachers ... )

4) Add in the hair . the line that it's on is where you end up with the small parts .. or mainly the hair line where it starts or what not whenever the hair is limp or what not . spiked .it's up higher

5) well . the end add in your pupils ... and any small details the character has !

ok . that was lame but mainly to help my student ~KittenKagome sumimasen for the time it took for me to get it up . but as I said . I'll be your teacher if you bare the lazy/slow ness

(thing on side views)
notice the four lines that are comming from the face on the side views? .. those are so that way the face looks right (or at least decent) one line that goes right with the forehead . another with the mouth and jaw .. another (vertical) from the nose. and the last one is the same one as your eye line . if all four line up at one spot it's all good or at least damn decent

just .. don't kill me for making this .... and tell me if you try it and lemme see what you do
