He is absolutely magnificent. His features are strong and masculine and I love the effect of the minimal use of color. It's just gorgeous!!!

Love the hair and the hands. I sort of feel like the letter contains bad news, but he isn't surprised by it or he is indifferent too it. Like the person giving him the letter thinks he should have a reaction, but he really won't.

Oho, very splendidly done! You'll just have to take my word for it, since all I have of the drawing with the letter is a rough sketch, *but* yes.. yes.. there was a lot of emotion that went into the letter.
What lovely comments you've left - thank you so much! I'm sorry to be so very late in replying to them; I've had my head stuck in other projects, alas.

*happy sob* Hands are HARD, and I hope it doesn't make me sound like a jerk if I say I love you for having something nice to say about them! :'D 'Inspirational' is seriously high praise - thanks so much!

I can feel your pain - hands are such a nuisance, and it's always good to see a lot of effort put into making them look realistic and that's what I enjoy about your artwork so much ^_^

It's an idea that has knocked around in my head for awhile; just recently did I catch the right, um.. mental.. wind?.. and decide to say STUFF IT and go ahead and do it! I've gotten good feedback and bad, some people seem to think it's just a wacky idea. I didn't think it was THAT strange! Well anyway.. I mention this so I can say, and really mean it, THANK YOU, because I get all excited about it when someone Gets Its!

lol, anytime dear, i'm nothing if not a dreamer. lord knows i spend half my time staring off into space. And honestly it's a sound idea. i mean isn't that what most art is? A snapshot of an instant in time. There usually isn't a written "Hey this is what's going on" to go with it. you know? So here you are actually telling your viewer "Hey! Tell me what YOU think is going on" i think it's brilliant personally. This world really isn't creative enough. i mean, have you been to the movies lately? *snort* i'm going to stop rambling now!

Hello, and I am very happy to have been directed at your work. It's beautiful! I had a random thought process earlier last year when I first took art history and learned about narrative paintings and murals and things, and it was very similar to how you're handling these pieces now. Kind of creepy, actually, but I can honestly say I believe there isn't a single thought that hasn't been thought before by at least one other person. xD
Anyway, I love the detail and approach to your pieces, and your compositions are interesting and flowy. Definitely adding you to my watch. ;D
And this is very off hand, but do you still rp? I couldn't help but notice that quote in your signature. It made me think of this episode of this very...degrading show called Drawn Together, where one of the characters (Xandir) had been suggested to perform roleplay as a sort of therapy to see how his parents would react when they learned he was gay. They got into character, and then those characters were told to roleplay as therapy, too, and so those characters were playing characters, and it turned into this big mess... Lol, sorry I have a habit of rambling.

I LOVE YOU.
I hate shading, and I am not good at it. Seriously, I am not being modest, as far as Razi cares, shading is what PHOTOSHOP is for, so when I'm hacking away at it with pencil, it's like pulling out arm hairs. One. At. A. Time. So, I am Thrilled that it's going well!

Ack! >_< Yeah, understandable. But it is! It's paying off, IMO. It's giving it a very unique shape and texture. Keep it up!

I'm not sure, I'm not sure, I was thinking 'brushable' the whole time I worked on it.. Brushable, I cannot just stop at good or okay, I must push this clear to BRUSHABLE.
Yeah I was out in the sun too long this afternoon. ^.^;
Thank you so much!

Ah ha, you're welcome! I love looking at your brushable and superpretty creations ;;

Thank you very mucho! I am always glad that my messy pencil work .. erm, works.. for people!
You're in my List o' People Whose Arts I Need To Comment On; EVERY new piece of yours that I see lately, is better than the one before. (Point of fact I get a bit weepy over how CLEAN your lineart is!)

I love it when people ask me questions! I can only hope that my nonsense non-answers, work.
This is part of a story; the red page was given to him. I say 'story,' the whole idea is, really, a string of loosely connected images, and then challenge my viewers to tell ME what the story is. (Is the red page a gift? A threat? A love letter?) It's one of my weirder artist.. things.. to create images like this and then ask other people what they think it means.
Thanks so much for the comment!
