This is a great piece of work ..did you burnish it with shavings ? What finish did you use on it ,it looks like an oil !

Thank you. I have burnished in the past but this one was, one coat Danish oil and a thin coat of lacquer.

Very nice! in the thumbnail, the bloodwood almost looks like a band of copper.

I got lucky with the bloodwood, it had a nice shine to it. Most of the time it comes out very dark. Thanks for the favs.
