Well, Nothing really new here.This is just a slightly retouched and cleaned up submission of my original Leopard from late last year.
I made a few alterations to the neck and shoulder area, the eye and also darkened up the shadows around the mouth and teeth in preparation for submitting this to DAPrints.

heh, if it wasn't you Reality I'd probably be thinking this was rip, because it seems like the sort of work that is too good for anyone to have done
This piece is amazing (despite the time it took to get down my dial up connection).
I really think the colours do it favour, the monochrome yellows age the piece and communicate a sense of realism and honesty in the medium. It looks as much like a drawing as it does the subject matter, which lends credibility IMO.
The way the form of the animal is captured is excellent. The sense of weight and power comes across brilliantly and I feel as though they are the impressions I would get from looking at a real leopard.
I think its just a combination of perfect line work / compostion and the shading.
No crit I can offer.

i adore the antique look to the paper on this and the charcoal pencil? i'm assuming thats what you used.. this is really great all the porportions are spot on.. and the lines are clean and great detail. +fav

Absolutely amazing. *_* I have a bit thing for eyes, and I love the shading and such on these eyes (eye, rather ^^; ). The shading on the entire thing is just beautiful!

Wow, when I first saw the thumbnail for this in the forum thread I assumed it was a photograph with filter or two added, guess I was wrong
I love the shadowing effect you used and the texture on his nose is purrfect, it actually looks like it would be a little rough to the touch A beautiful drawing, jealously inspiring even
(And yes big cats count, for three, maybe even four normal sized cats at least )
