i know that i'm not saying she innocent but people are hating on her way too much, i mean compare to what the REAL villians of the show like Nightmare Moon, Discord, Chrysalis and King Sombra have done way worse things than what gilda did. and whenever i hear someone talk about gilda most of them are like" i hate gilda because she made fluttershy cry and that why she deserves to die and go to hell" i mean really she is just getting too much hate

Discord was evil, but a charming kind of evil. It made you pretty much like him, in spite of his troll demeanor. Luna wasn't even in control of what she was doing, from what I can gather. Hell, in the end, both repented for their actions, and made everything better. I don't even like Sombra and Chrysalis, so don't you be using them as an excuse around me. Anyhow, Gilda never apologized for anything, was selfish and antagonistic for the pure sake of it and nothing more. She was a bad character with no virtues, taste, or anything but apathy, and she'd pry hate you too. I think most gruff she's gotten was reasonably deserved, but her poor treatment of Fluttershy, in the end, is simply the most quintessential of everything she did. I mean, Fluttershy didn't even do anything to deserve that shit. Period.

for the love of good i already said that gilda is not innocent she needs to say she sorry no doubt about that but she is getting too much hate for what she did. there have been worse things that happen on the show way worst like chrysalis trying to take over canterlot and discord bringing total chaos to equestria. that true evil and what gilda did where it not good but it definetly not the worst thing to happen on the show. and if gilda appears in season 4 than i hope she redeems herself because she does need to say she sorry for what she done but the hate she getting is WAY too much for her actions, all she did was make fluttershy cry she didn't try to murder her.

I'm sure Fluttershy did not make her friends cry right and you'd think she would stand a better taller pony. Β yet she did what Gilda and yes she felt bad but this is mean for her to even say those things iron will gave her instructions on how to be assertive not the mean hurtful things she did all that with her own words what she said to pinkie and rarity that was too far.
Β I like Fluttershy as a pony.

Okay, no. Really, "autistic/Asperger's" has become the new "retarded". Neither are insults, and neither should be used as such. People with Asperger's can be just as reasonable and intelligent as neurotypicals can be.
That being said, the argument is ridiculous. Gilda was purposely portrayed as a jerk trying to pull RD away from her friends by the writers. RD proved her element of loyalty by staying with her true friends. People don't like Gilda because she was created by the writers as an antagonist. She's not a villain, per se, but she's still not supposed to be portrayed as good. Therefore, the logical conclusion to draw from the episode is that Gilda is not a character to be liked, and she should be called out for what she did to Fluttershy.
