Description
A beautiful angel inspired by the infinite power and energy of the Sun. It is part of a diptych that pays homage to the magic of the Sun and the Moon.This painting placed as First Runner Up in the Summer Solstice contest hosted by =cosmosue . I feel very honored!

Hmmm, mermaids and faeries are always fun, and skies are great practice. Anything with billowy fabrics are great to help you practice shading, but as you can see from my paintings it can be addictive!

Thanks! That blue/rusty orange is one of my absolute favorite color combinations, I love using it because it's so vivid. I used Winsor & Newton watercolors and Arches Watercolor paper.

ah watercolors! I wasnt sure, it is so crisp it looks like color pencil. Excellent job. By the way, I'm wearing a rust colored peasant skirt and turquise blue tank top....
