Description Back on the 18th of May I attended the 'Air and Land Spectacular' at Emu Gully here in Queensland. A great day was had and while I have not taken many photos, i tried to get some better ones while at the same time enjoying the event.

Here is an beautifully restored Saladin 6x6 Armored car on display in the sunshine inside the Vietnam era encampment.

Nice!
I like Ferrets more, but this vehicle is almost as cool.

Ferrets, Weasel/Wiesel variants, I forget the others, the
Saladins...they'reΒ  all old school and still useable.
I think it's because their designs were pretty straight forward
and despite being wheeled they're useful in many regions.

What I always wanted to know was how three people worked
in a Ferret for multi day jaunts. Those things are crampt.

thanks, it was basically the only angle that was available due to the Ferret scout car being parked right behind it
