This is our mad scientist overthinking things again in Shepard's cabin, with his commander fallen asleep long time ago in the bed next to him after an endless conversation, not caring the less about the still and troubled salarian. His pose is a little hard to figure out I guess, but the blame is on his weird clothes, not me ! I'm still waiting for a meshmod of Mordin in his Foundation outfit, but until then, I'll have to go with this one.Ok this has to be one of my most popular piece. Why the Hell ? He's alone and not doing anything. I'm not complaining of course, but what this picture has that others don't ? (✪㉨✪)

About the links you gave Padme : interesting to see that at that time Mordin still had his two horns ! ( YES I imediatly noticed it )
You totaly catch the feeling of the overthinking after a long and serious conversation x) ( and Shepard that carefree go to sleep leaving Mordin in that sorry condition. Not even bothered by Mordin's presence. )
He fits so weel in the background ~ Is he talking to himself out loud to make his thoughs more clear ? Is he waking Shepard every 5 minutes because of his hard thinking ?

Yeah, I was shocked to learn he only lost his horn like two years before ME2 only. Usually, he totally talks to himself, but here Shepard is sleeping, so he's sitting still and silent so he won't wake him up. Shepard isn't bothered by his presence at all, he fell asleep suddenly, too tired, and nothing can wake him up now except himself. Making the character fit the background is the worst part, I got a little help for this one. But thanks !

really love this Mordin is one of my favourite characters so its really nice to see renders of him like this. but a question what is his foundation outfit? Just curious as I do have a pack of Salarian outfits ported that I still need to release and was wondering if it was one of them.

I'm so glad to know you checked and liked this deviation. I guess I should have been more explicit on the costum ! I'm just talking about what he wears in the comic Foundation 9 while releasing his new Genophage on Tuchanka. It's almost like the default salarian armor Kirrahe was wearing in ME1. I agree with you, there isn't enough arts with Mordin, but as you can see, I'm trying to fix this. Thanks for commenting !

Yep definitely not enough art of him. Will have to look into that armour as I really like trying to make new things at the moment. I mean I'm trying to make a poseable model of a Krogan looking like they do in the statues. www.deviantart.com/art/Mass-Ef…
I'm probably going to release an outfit pack for Mordin where he is wearing all outfits available for Salarians from ME1-3 but if I can find a reference to the comic version I may even attempt at making that.

I know you like challenges and new things, I think it's great. It's cool to know there are still people working on Mass Effect. Taking a closer look, the armor is exactly like Kirrahe's, except he still has this grey thing around his neck, this is why I thought it could be made by a 3DS Max, Blender and stuff user. Well, if you are not intending to read the comic, there are pics here and there. Exemples HERE and THERE . But I don't know if there is more to find about this outfit. It's just we already knew he probably wore an armor back in GSI so it would make sens to have this ported. I'm surprised noone ever did it yet.

Oops, sorry about the links. Weird. This is exactly that ! If you want to be sure of the details, you can Google Foundation 9 and you should easily find pics of some pages and judge by yourself. But I'm pretty sure this is all.

oddly the links are now working. must have been my internet earlier. but yeah just noticed he has both his horns too so will probably make two versions of it when I come to making the outfit pack. One with his ME2/3 head and one where he has his two horns.
