Very cool image. Luyan's arm/should tattoo is amazing.
Interesting background story as well, although if "she has also being avoiding the most wise race of the galaxy like the plague since then", why is there's an Asari with her? Plus, her name looks more Vietnamese than Albanian.
And I hope that this Eniel guy will run into somebody like Mordin one day who will kick his sorry ass.

Lol, by wanting to do your smartass, you pointed errors that weren't even errors.
Racists people don't run away when they see black people, they're just uncomfortable or ill-at-ease, it wouldn't make sense for the character to completly flee when she see Asaris....
And for the name, don't say it looks Vietnamian just because it's sounds Vitenamian to you, you didn't even make sure, because for your information, Naum is Russian. Plus I have a Dutch name and I'm French and none of my ancestors are Dutch. You can have names that have nothing to do with your nationality. People change their names.
I know it's been a while, but I wanted to reply anyway because it pisses me off to see smartasses like this, who put a little smiley while being dicks because they think others won't fight back. Because of a little smiley and a little " nice tattooes "

Nice rant, but really, you may want to take another look at the text. R'Ocha is not just some random Asari that Luyan encounters in a club, but apparently somebody she works with and goes out partying with. That does not sounds like "avoiding like the plague" to me.
As for the name, you are of course correct that people can be born somewhere and have a foreign name. "LUYÂN" looks Vietnamese, so I was surprised that she was supposed to be from Albania; that's all.

Avoiding like the plague is just a saying, man. Zombie-Dealers is right when she says it takes more than five minutes to make a render and I was obviously well aware I was putting an asari behind Luyân when I did. I said I made myself this reflexion when doing it, but like mentioned before, she's not gonna run away in fear when she sees asaris and certainly not from her friends. This is not a mistake.

OMG you think you know better than the author herself ? If Luyan was friend with this Asari before the event, she won't turn her off all of a sudden because she's unconfortable with the Asaris now. I think the author think about it more than you, you know ? It's not like she took this image and build the backgrounds stories around it and made mistakes like this, she had her characters and their stories before making this render....

Look, the author said it herself: "It was supposed to be a human woman beside Luyân, but at some point I decided to put R'Ocha here instead". So the story was originally written for a Human companion. Now with an Asari companion, "avoid like the plague" doesn't quite fit anymore, in my opinion. The author thinks otherwise, and now that we've sorted that out, there's really no need to argue anymore. It was just a minor point to begin with anyway, and it's unfortunate that it's been blown out of proportion this way.

Oh my god are you for real. It's NOT a MISTAKE did you actually read the author's reply to your comment ? It's not a mistake, it's a replacement. She put an Asari instead, but the Asari is the human's friend so she won't avoid her, that's why the author was ok with puting the Asari there. I made myself the same reflexion after making the render. I thought I'd say something about it in the description, but decided against it. It was supposed to be a human woman beside Luyân, but at some point I decided to put R'Ocha here instead, just because she is on of my characters. I didn't mean she's gonna run away everytime she sees an asari, she can still stand those she knows. I remember when I was searching vietnamien names for Luyân, but I decided of her nationality just days ago. I guess it doesn't matter, you can have an american name and been russian. You're thinking too much over a render.

It does give an atmosphere to pictures, though I was hesitant for this one because it blurs the tattoos. I always have tons of different versions for each render, never sure what effect to use. Film grain often a good solution.
