Blegh, this one was quite difficult to crack, but I think I got there and I'm happy with the result. Smashed out the colouring entirely in a couple of hours, but designing Arcanine and finding a suitable pose took much longer.Hope you like it. Also, why does Reddit have only self post Mondays? Ugh.

Arcanine is one of those Pokemon that need no real alteration to make realistic.
Because it's just a big dog with a tiger pattern and hefty mane.

I absolutely love this piece. The paws are outstanding, along with the muscle definition. The elongated fangs are a nice touch. Arcanine has always been one of my favorite pokemon, and this just makes me love him even more. Great job <3

This one turned out great.Β I really love the way you handled the fur on the back feet, especially the ankle area.Β Looking back at my arcanine, I definitely feel that the wrist areas were poorly realized.Β That is an area you handled deftly.

Much thanks! I tried to avoid full canine paws and elongated legs, as it's quite obvious that the paws and legs are rather stocky, moreso like a tiger's (compared to say, Manectric or Houndoom who have very long, slim canid anatomy). I fused a lot of tiger and wolf aspects in this one and even made the ears deer like to accentuate their shape.Β
