OK, so to get it to work...
there's the drop shadow effect that you know, plus some sub-folders.
1) Rename every sub-folder into an English name. Doesn't matter what you call it.
2) load the drop shadow effect in the sub-folder.
(there's a green one, a white one, a striped one (put the size value as 100 or something to see it), a red and black circle one (again, adjust the size), and... yellow again. :/
(to know what the circle and stripes are, open the tex file in that folder through Windows Explorer)
Also, the transparency value adjusts the blurriness of the edge.
FYI the DotsDropShadow effect (o_DotsDropShdw_v0_2) changes colour when you adjust the rotation values.

Assuming you may have other effects or accessories loaded, go to Background(B) then Accessories Edit(A) and then click on drop shadow, moving it to the top of the drawing order. Hopefully if all goes well it should move behind the model. Hope this was helpful. (Also apologies for the super late reply.)

I'm sure it's the ROTATION X, Y, Z values. So the second line.

Do you know how to change the drop shadow color individually? Like, sometimes I'll see an MMD video, and if two models are dancing together, one could have a blue dropshadow while the other has a pink. Does that make any sense? I hope you understand what I'm trying to ask, I'm shit at explaining thingsΒ
Edit: I have an example!Β www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm19844β¦

I'm not sure this will work, but I'm pretty sure!
Load the effect in the Accessory slot. Do one for each model that you would like to have it on.
Go to MME in the corner and click "Effect Mapping"
Choose one of the DropShadow tabs, and click "Set Effect"
Then, go into the other folder in the file. You will see more folders with japanese names.
First off, for it to work correctly, you have to change EVERY folder with Japanese characters or symbols to english. Then, choose the color you want for that DropShadow effect.
It should work, if it doesn't, I can try to help even more ^^

Just make sure they have English characters and not any of the weird signs or Japanese characters
